About me

I am a photographer, arts educator and cultural organiser based in Chennai, India. My work brings together photography, education and feminist practice, with a particular interest in whose stories are seen, who gets to create, and how we make space for one another.

I am a co-founder and founding trustee of the Chennai Photo Biennale Foundation, where I built and led its arts education initiatives. I currently serve as Advisor to CPB Prism, supporting its work in photography and arts-based learning.

One example of this work was covered in the Indian Express.

I also founded The Kala Collective, a community for women and non-binary artists to connect, collaborate and grow. Through exhibitions, mentorship and collective projects, I work to create more opportunities for women and girls to participate in the arts.

My photography spans documentary stories, portraits and commissioned work, exploring public space, politics and everyday life. My photographs have appeared in publications including The Hindu and The Wire.
